The German KÜS vehicle test center in Bad Dürkheim trusts in SHERPA technology for their work and often serves as training center

The Bad Dürkheim test center of the German automotive inspection organization KÜS (Kraftfahrzeug-Überwachungsorganisation freiberuflicher Kfz-Sachverständiger e. V.) relies on SHERPA for the technical qualification and advanced training of its test engineers.

The test center has been a training location for KÜS test engineers since 2001. “In Germany, we are one of the most sought-after training locations of the KÜS organization,“ says Dipl.-Ing./ Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. J. Huppertz, leader of the engineering and expert office for vehicle technology and technical inspection at KÜS. “A variety of test engineers are being trained at our location each year. Technical lessons and content can be demonstrated directly at the test center – based on SHERPA technologies.”

Both, a SHERPA roller and plate brake tester are installed in Bad Dürkheim: The roller brake tester, type BPS-Kompakt-13.0 for cars and trucks up to 13 t axle load, is equipped with options that allow vehicle testing at the highest level: two test speeds, hydraulic roller raising, patented automatic all-wheel detection, patented EDOS drive out assistance and weighing equipment.
The plate brake tester PPS-101-Eco-203 features an additional side slip and release plate, besides the regular brake plates, and an additional digital display cabinet for track display.

As a German automotive inspection organization, the KÜS group of companies has been promoting vehicle and traffic safety since 1980. KÜS has been working with SHERPA for many years, which makes us proud.
