New KÜS vehicle testing centre in Ampfing relies on SHERPA technology
Just about 1 km linear distance from the SHERPA headquarters in Ampfing, automotive expert Dirk Oberloher opened a new KÜS testing centre at the end of last year. As a neighbor, we are particularly pleased that we were entitled to equip this vehicle testing centre with SHERPA testing technology – a BPS-Kompakt-6.0 roller brake tester with control box and analog display, an SHB-Safelift-4.2 scissor lift with an AST-Flat-4.1 Safelift play detector recessed into the rails, a wheel free jack also integrated into the rails, and a MECO-SEP headlight tester.
Dirk Oberloher, a graduate engineer (FH) and owner of the testing centre, explains with a smile why he chose a bold red for his scissor lift, referring to the brand colour of the KÜS organisation. For Dirk Oberloher, who has successfully operated a KÜS testing centre in Mühldorf with a partner since 2005 and has decades of experience and expertise, the new testing centre not only strengthens and expands the regional presence, but also fulfills his long-held dream of opening a KÜS testing centre at a major traffic junction in his hometown Ampfing.
To celebrate the successful completion, Dirk Oberloher hosted an open day last Friday, offering the opportunity to learn more about the modern, customer-oriented testing centre and its extensive range of services, as well as to gain insights into the testing procedures (OVB Media reported). Alongside political representatives such as the mayor of Ampfing and the chairman of the Ampfing Business Association, the company SHERPA as technical supplier of the testing centre was also invited to this festive occasion. Sales Manager Christian Leis congratulated on behalf of the entire SHERPA team on the opening and wished all the best for the future.
Dirk Oberloher stated at the opening: “We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone involved in making the setup of the testing centre and this day possible. Your commitment and support are invaluable to us!”
