The “Tranzit” group has installed SHERPA testing technology in the western Russian city of Smolensk
Once again, we can publicize a reference from Russia thanks to Horex Union GmbH & SHERPA Service O.O.O. – this time from Smolensk, a city in the west of the country near the border to Belarus.
The DEKRA test centre of the “Tranzit” group checks its trucks and transporters with SHERPA testing technology. Both truck and car testing systems are installed in Smolensk:
- A SHERPA roller brake tester BPS-Twin-18.0 for cars and commercial vehicles up to 18 t axle load: This test bench is ideally equipped for all testing requirements with splash water protected drive motors, pedal force transducer, weighing device, pointer analog display and digital difference display, PC Software “BPS-TV”, SHERPA-Office database and the proven SHERPA options manual rotational and measurement direction reversal and the SHERPA-patented automatic all-wheel detection.
- A hydraulic SHERPA axle play detector AST-20.3-Pit with plastic sliding bearings for cars and commercial vehicles up to 20 t axle load: Mounted in the foundations of the working pit, this test bench makes detached or loose axle and steering parts immediately visible. The option automatic centre positioning has been added here.
- A SHERPA roller brake tester BPS-Kompakt-6.0 for cars and transporters up to 6 t axle load: The test bench has also been upgraded through various options, such as reinforced, splash water protected drive motors with planetary gear, pedal force transducer, weighing device, PC Software “BPS-TV”, SHERPA-Office database, manual rotational and measurement direction reversal and patented automatic all-wheel detection.
- A hydraulic axle play detector AST-2.0-Top-1 for up to 2 t wheel load completes the installation in Smolensk: Due to its extremely low installation height of 5 cm, this device can be mounted above-ground, and it can be traversed with vehicles featuring low ground clearance without any problems. Through the patented plate movements and the strong stroke paths, the SHERPA play detectors type AST-Top only require one test plate for the inspection of the axle suspension and steering lever on both vehicle sides. The option automatic centre positioning has also been added to this AST.
